I have run into a software called "Deep Sky Stacker", it appears that one can use it to combine flats and darks with the light images to improve the quality. The idea for this is to play with this software and report on what we can do. While doing this, we want to think about what we will need later on when collecting the data. Explore this software using some tutorial data first, and then try using the data collected last semester to see if we can do something with it.
Tutorial 1
This tutorial comes with a data folder that can be used to follow along. This is a good starting point.
Tutorial 2
Might be a repeat of the first one, but just in case there is something additional that might be learned, here is another tutorial
Tutorial 3
This might go into a little more depth.
