7-Step Format
Title (underlined)
Purpose of the lab experiment (one sentence)
Description of the experimental setup (with detailed diagrams or photos)
Procedure of the experiment
Data (tables) and/or observations
Analysis of data (the thinking part of the lab – what information can you extract from the data? What percent error did you have in the experiment?)
Conclusions (a synopsis of your findings, important comments on how to improve the experiment, percent differences, explanation of error sources)
